Our Process

 

“Envision” begins with a comprehensive evaluation of the property, project and existing conditions. After said conditions are evaluated, you meet with our design professionals to make recommendations on what we determine the property needs; based off those conditions and the clients desired outcome.

 

Once an agreement has been made on the direction of the project, we begin the documentation of the existing conditions. A contract is executed; deposit is made and we move onto the development phase.

 

After the design options, have been created we consult with the owner to determine if the goals of the owner have been met. Once final design is determined/chosen we then begin the construction document phase in which the criteria of the building code are added.

 

Construction documents are finalized and we provide a completed copy to the owner for review and contractor selection. At this time, any additional funds are paid and we proceed through the permit review process. Based on the municipality that is reviewing the drawings, they are either hand or electronically delivered to the respective city/township for reviews to begin.

 

As long as the each of the parties i.e. designers, architects, contractors, etc. have properly adhered to the guidelines the permitting process has concluded the permit is issued, as long as the responsibilities of the parties are met i.e. contractors or required documentation.
